Fee Structure

We take pride in our administration department being highly efficient and well informed to make the world of medical aids less daunting for you.

See billing procedures under documents

Medical Aids:

  • We charge only the prescribed medical aid rates as per the National Reference Price List (NRPL)
  • Claims are sent in daily via an electronic process to all South African Medical Aids
  • Any medical aid queries after physiotherapy treatment started can be done by the admin staff, but only the patient as medical aid member can enquire from your own medical aid if your medical scheme plan covers out-physiotherapy treatment payments.

Private Patients:

In the expensive world of private medical care we strive to provide a competitive and fair service to ensure that all patients can benefit from physiotherapy treatment and private patients are welcome.

It is our aim to provide effective intervention in the appropriate amount of sessions that will give you the tools to recovery without added worry about expensive fees.

We have card facilities on the premises and also manage cash transactions as well as the usual electronic payment (EFT) options.

Physiotherapists are first line practitioners, which mean that you do not need a Dr’s referral to see us for the self-referral conditions, but can call us directly for an appointment. Please click on the services page above if you are unsure if you would benefit from physiotherapy treatment.

It remains your responsibility as patient to find out whether your medical aid scheme insists on a Dr’s referral prior to physiotherapy treatment; if physiotherapy treatments are included in your benefits as well as the amount of sessions that your medical aid will cover and if your medical aid has not been depleted for the year. The patient remains ultimately responsible for settling all outstanding payments regardless of whether the patient is on a medical aid or private. This will prevent seemingly unexpected bills from us and unnecessary worry for you as the patient.
